Overwhelming support for a new DIVO: survey
West Tamar Council received 181 responses to its Beauty Point Diving Platform community engagement process.
Approximately 94 per cent of respondents to a survey said they wanted the Beauty Point DIVO replaced with a like-for-like diving platform.
Approximately 6 per cent of respondents said they did not want the platform replaced.
When asked about preferred location, the vast majority of respondents said they would prefer the new platform to be installed at the current location.
The full engagement report has been forwarded on to the Department of Parks and Wildlife for its consideration.
