Exeter Structure Plan Review

Council has commenced a review of the Exeter Structure Plan. The Structure Plan was adopted in 2014 and provides a 20 year vision for the area.

A number of projects included in the plan have now been completed and it is time to undertake a review and update of the Structure Plan.

Initial consultation with the Exeter community will start in late February and continue through to March 2021.

To get things started, we would like answers to these questions from as many people in the Exeter community as possible:

  • What do you like most about Exeter?
  • What would you like changed in Exeter?
  • What is missing in Exeter?

Please submit your answers via the form below or complete this form and email it to wtc@wtc.tas.gov.au or post to PO Box 16, Riverside TAS 7250 by 5pm Wednesday 31 March 2021– remember to include your name and contact details (email address or postal address) so we can keep you up to date with the review.

Council staff will be available to discuss the review at drop-in sessions at the Exeter Community Hub in Murray Street on:

  • Monday 22 March 2021 between 4.00pm and 7.00pm; and
  • Wednesday 24 March between 10.00am and 2.00pm.

The current Exeter Structure Plan can be downloaded here.

*Please note, your submission must be received by 5pm on the 31st of March 2021 to be included.

Your feedback is deemed to be received:

a. if delivered by hand or sent by prepaid post - upon delivery to 2-4 Eden Street, Riverside; or

b. if transmitted electronically - upon receipt by the sender of an electronic receipt notification (generated by the system transmitting the notice).
