Regulated Systems

 

Under the Public Health Act 1997 it is a requirement for all regulated systems to be registered with the municipal Council where they are located.

 

A regulated system is defined as:

  1. an air-handling system; or
  2. a cooling tower; or
  3. a warm-water system; or
  4. a humidifying system; or
  5. any other system or process that may involve a risk of legionnaire’s disease.

To apply for a Regulated system, please complete and return the Regulated System Application Form http://www.wtc.tas.gov.au/images/stories/pdf.gif(95 KB) along with the applicable fee to Council.
