Under the Public Health Act 1997 it is a requirement for all regulated systems to be registered with the municipal Council where they are located.
A regulated system is defined as:
- an air-handling system; or
- a cooling tower; or
- a warm-water system; or
- a humidifying system; or
- any other system or process that may involve a risk of legionnaire’s disease.

To apply for a Regulated system, please complete and return the Regulated System Application Form (95 KB) along with the applicable fee to Council.
