The West Tamar Council invites written submissions on the Draft Exeter and District Structure Plan 2026.

A Structure Plan is a document that guides the future development of a town or suburb. It lays the foundation for regulatory zoning and the planning process, including where future growth is planned to occur.
The Draft Structure Plan 2026 follows consultation in 2023. Thank you to those who attended drop-in sessions and made submissions. 81 submissions were received during this process, which resulted in additional investigations being undertaken and revisions to the draft plan.

Due to the changes made in response to the previous consultation, Council decided that the revised Structure Plan should be presented to the community for another opportunity to comment.
Submissions are due on 30 June 2026 and can be made by:
- using the submission form on the website below;
- emailing wtc@wtc.tas.gov.au; or
- mail to PO Box 16, Riverside TAS 7250.
