West Tamar Council has been approached by a number of residents with a proposal to form a committee to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Frankford Soldiers Memorial Hall.
This committee would be established under Section 24 of the Local Government Act 1993 and would act on behalf of Council in managing the hall.
Community halls play a vital role in bringing people together, and Council is keen to understand the level of local support for this idea.

The survey will remain open until COB October 31.
If there is sufficient interest shown, Council will consider progressing the establishment of a Special Committee to manage the hall for the benefit of the Frankford community.
