West Tamar Council has been preparing the first Growth Strategy for the region in consultation with the community and key stakeholders.
The purpose of the Strategy is to enable sustainable growth over the next 20 years and beyond. The Strategy will develop a ‘roadmap’ for managing growth while balancing the protection of natural spaces and the places that make West Tamar an amazing place to live, work and invest.
The final Strategy will consider feedback received during community consultation on the draft Growth Strategy, and once adopted, will provide Council a clear strategic direction on future growth.
Community consultation on the Draft Growth Strategy will comprise drop-in sessions and an open request for feedback during the consultation period which will run from 3rd September – 30th September 2025.

DROP IN SESSIONS
Drop-in sessions will be held to answer questions and hear your views and feedback on the Draft West Tamar Growth Strategy. Registration is not required. You are welcome to drop-in as convenient at the below times and locations:
