Upcoming Temporary Road Closures
Weld Street, Beaconsfield - April 25th, 2018 10am - 12pm
Weld Street in Beaconsfield will be closed between West Street and Bernard Street on Wednesday 25th of April between 10am and 12pm for the ANZAC Day Parade.
Traffic is advised to detour via Bernard Street, John Street, Fysh Street and Shaw Street, or Bernard Street, Douglas Street and Woodmans Lane.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
Legana Grove, Legana
UPDATE: To minimise public inconvenience, the road closure has been postponed until further notice.
Access to the Legana shopping centre, Salvo’s, the Reject Shop and the Tyre Mechanic via Legana Grove will be maintained.
The section of Legana Grove between the Tyre Mechanic and the Reject Shop will be closed to all through traffic at a later date, to be advised.
For road safety, please adhere to all road signs.

Riverside Drive/Rannoch Ave, Riverside - March 26-June, 2018
The contractor will be undertaking minor works this week including location works and set out, but will not start the actual construction until Easter Tuesday 3rd April. Therefore road closures won't come into effect until early April.
Sections of Riverside Drive/Rannoch Avenue, Riverside will be closed between Pitten Crief & Riverside Way, to Balmoral Av from Monday 26th March, until late June 2018 between 7:30am and 4:30pm for storm water upgrading works. During this period only local property access will be maintained.
West Tamar Council apologises for any inconvenience.
Temporary Road Closures for Events
You must obtain approval from Council for the closure of any part of a Council road or street in the West Tamar municipality for special events such as:
• fun runs
• bike rides
• street parties
• community events
• sporting events
Due the potential significant impact a road closure can have for members of the public and emergency services you should discuss your plans with Council officers well in advance of when you intend to hold your event.
